Pressing [:] [D] or [9] [E] while the playback control feature on Video CDs (➜ page 54) is working may take you to a menu screen.

≥Cursor buttons [2, 1] are also effective while paused for frame-

by-frame viewing.

≥Backward ([2;]) does not work with Video CDs.

≥This may not work with some discs.

≥This works only when stopped with some discs (the screen saver is on the television).

– A group number can be specified while the screen saver is displayed.

–Playing bonus groups

Some discs contain bonus groups. If a password screen appears after selecting a group, enter the password with the numbered buttons and press [ENTER]. Refer also to the disc’s jacket.
