Enabling/Disabling the PIN

1 FromIdle ZQ

,select Phone Menu >Security >PIN

ZQ

2 Useaselect Enable /Disable or Change PIN ZQ

3 EnterPIN (Between 4 and 8 digits)ZQ

Setting Vibration Alert

Whenrequired, the phone can be set up to vibrate when a call is received.

Vibrationalert enables the user to choose between Continuous,

Intermittentvibration alerts when a call is received. Switching on vibration

alertwill silence the ring volume. If, however, the ring volume is adjusted

afterthe vibration alert is switched on, or the Discreet Mode is switched

on,(see “Setting Discreet Mode” page 11 ) andits profile enables ring

tones,the phone will ring and vibrate when a call is received.

FromIdle ZQ

,select Personalise >Vibration Alert.

Choosethe vibration setting required, Continuous,Intermittent

orDisable,ZQ

Whenactivated, the phone will vibrate briefly.

Note:When Discreet Mode is enabled, it’s profiles will supercede those of

theVibration alert.

Setting Discreet Mode

DiscreetMode will allow the user to choose between “Vibrate only”, “ring

toneonly” or both.

3 Useeto select the required vibration type or ring tone volume

toselect the required vibration type or ring tone volume

Note:If the ring tone volume is increased beyond “Max” volume it will set

anescalating ring tone.
