Setting the Backlight Time

,select Personalise >Display Setting >

BacklightTime ZQ

2 Useeto cycle through the times available

3ZQ

toselect the desired time

Using Voice Commands

Beforeany of the phone’s voice activated functions can be used, it is

necessaryto configure the phone so that it will recognize a particular voice

andintonation.

Voice Dial Entry Setup

Thisfunction allows the user to recall and dial numbers from the

Phonebookusing voice commands.

1 FromIdle ZQ

,select Personalise >Voice Command

>VoiceDial ZQ

2ZQ

toadd a new Voice Dial entry to the list

3 Browsethrough the Phonebook to select an entry which is to be

attributedwith a voice command, ZQ

twice

Note:Each recording is short in length, so be prepared to speak soon after

initiatingthe recording.

4 Whenready, the user should hold the phone approximately 20cm

fromhis/her mouth, ZQ

andspeak clearly into the

microphoneto record the name of the selected Phonebook entry

Whenthe recording has stopped, it will be necessary to repeat the name.

5 Whenprompted, ZQand repeat the name

Whenrecording is completed for a second time, the display will indicate if

therecording was successful or not. If unsuccessful, repeat from step 4.
