DTMF Tones

DTMFtones can be sent during conversation. These are often used to

accessvoice mail, paging and computerized home banking. For example,

youmay need to input a number to remotely access voice mail messages. A

phonenumber may be stored in the Phonebook with DTMF tones, allowing

thenumber to be dialled upon recall and the DTMF number to be sent

automatically.

Send DTMF Tones During a Call

Enterdigits (0to 9,#and *)

Pause Dial

Usingpauses allows you to send DTMF tones automatically.

1 Enterphone number

2 Pressand hold 0until a Pis displayed at the end of the phone

numberentered

3 EnterDTMF digits after the pause, e.g. enter the number to access

voicemail messages.

Whenthe call is successful DTMF tones will be sent after 3 seconds or

tosend the DTMF tones manually.

Ifthe DTMF tones are unsuccessful then the destination of your call may

requirethat the length of the tones be increased.
