[REC MODE]

Switch the quality and recording format of the motion picture to record in AVCHD.

Set [REC FORMAT] to [AVCHD].

: [RECORD SETUP] # [REC MODE] # desired setting

[HA]/[HG]/[HE]:

Set the recording mode to 1080/60i.

AFavors image quality B Favors recording time

Recordable time using the battery (l12)

This function’s default setting is [HG] mode.

Please refer to page 97 about approximate recordable time.

When the unit is moved a lot or moved quickly, or when a fast-moving subject is recorded (Especially when recording in recording format [MP4] or recording mode [HE]), mosaic-type noise may appear at playback.

[E.I.S.]

Use the image stabilizer to reduce the effects of shake during recording.

: [RECORD SETUP] # [E.I.S.] # [ON]

appears on the screen.

When recording with a tripod, we recommend that you set [OFF].

When the Color Night Rec function is used or the shutter speed is slower than

1/60 depending on the surrounding darkness, the electrical image stabilizer function does not

work and the indication flashes.

Stabilization may not be possible under strong camera shaking conditions.
