The ringer volume has seven levels which is indicated by the num- ber of asterisks on the display. [Default: *** (level 3)]

If you do not want your portable station to ring, you can select Off, or Vibration which is convenient while in a meeting, etc.

During on-hook status or when the portable sta- tion is ringing

Press the VOLUME (UP Manual background / Down Manual background ) Control button.

Note –In addition to the ringer patterns above, there are several combination of vibration and ring types. Refer to “Selecting the Vibration and Ring Type” in PS Programming.

–The portable station rings for an incoming call while charging even when it is set to vibrate.
