Battery Replacement

If “Recharge” is displayed and/or “ ” flashes after a few telephone
calls even if the battery was fully charged, replace the battery with a new
Panasonic N4HHGMB00001 or N4HHGMB00005 (HHR-P103) battery. To
order, call the accessories telephone number on page 2.
1Press the notch on the
handset cover firmly and
slide it as indicated by the
arrow.
2Remove the old battery and
wait for a few minutes.
And insert the new battery
into the handset as shown,
matching the correct
polarity (#). Press
the battery down until
it fits securely into the
compartment ($).
3Close the cover. Make sure the handset display shows “ ”,
when you place the handset on the base unit or the charger.
If it does not show “ ”, remove the new battery and wait for 10
minutes; and then insert the battery again. Make sure the handset display
shows “ ”.
4Charge the new battery for about 15 hours in order to display the
battery strength prompt correctly (p. 10, 11).
