Advanced Operations

Replace the Battery
Cover.
The operative range described on the left is valid for
using the Remote Controller indoors.
When using it outdoors or under strong lights, it may
not work correctly even within the left range.
Within a distance of about 1 metre, it is also possible
to use the Remote Controller from the side ([MENU]
Button side). (NV-VZ15 only)
Do not cover the Transmitter Window on the Remote
Controller with your hand, etc.
The zoom speed cannot be changed from the
Remote Controller.
To prevent inadvertent operation by other infrared
remote controllers, the Movie Camera needs to
receive each command signal three times. For this
reason, there is a slight delay between pressing the
[W] or [T] Button on the Remote Controller and the
actual operation of the zoom function on the Movie
Camera.
Replacing the Batteries
The life of the batteries
is about 1 year.
When the batteries are
exhausted, purchase two
new “AAA”, “UM-4” or
“R03” type batteries and
insert them in the same
way as explained on the
left.
