Delay time

(Dolby Digital, center and surround speakers only)

The sound from speakers can reach the listening position at different times depending on placement. You can allow for this difference by changing the delay time of the center and surround speakers.

D2: The distance from the center speaker
D3: The distance from the surround speaker

Center speaker delay time

If D1 W D2, then set delay time to 0 ms.

If D1 > D2, then set delay time as follows:

100 cm (3 feet)	2.6 ms
150 cm (5 feet)	3.9 ms
200 cm (6 feet)	5.3 ms

Surround speaker delay time

If D1	W D3, then set delay time to 0 ms.
If D1	> D3, then set delay time as follows:
