Handset settings

To customise the handset:

1{j/OK}

2Press {^} or {V} to select Handset Setup. i {>}

3Press {^} or {V} to select the desired item in the handset settings menu. i{>}

4Press {^} or {V} to select the desired item in the sub-menu. i {>}

5Press {^} or {V} to select the desired setting then press {>}.

L This step may vary depending on the feature being programmed. L To exit the operation, press {ih}.

*3 When the ringer volume is turned off, Ring Offis displayed and the handset does not ring for outside calls.

However even when the ringer volume is turned off, the handset rings:

at the minimum level for alarm (KX-TG7220/KX-TG7222/KX-TG7223/ KX-TG7224)

at the minimum level for intercom calls

at the maximum level for paging

*4 If you select one of the melody ringtones, the ringtone will continue to sound for several seconds if the caller hangs up before you answer. You may hear a dial tone or no one on the line when you answer a call.
