When Channel Selection is on Position, and Auto Tuning is performed, the TV memorises the channels tuned in order from Programme Number 1. During Position mode various reception channels can be viewed.

When Channel Selection is on Direct, and Auto Tuning is performed, the TV memorises the Programme Number which is the same as the channel tuned. The Channel Display numbers for the broadcast stations in each region are listed on p. 34.
