7ADDRESS Box – Enter the IP address or phone number of the site.
8CONNECTION PASSWORD Box – Enter the Connection User password of the server, if the server has one.
9SEARCH PASSWORD Box–– Enter the Search User password of the server, if the server has one.
10 CHANNEL NAME Box – Click the left and right arrow buttons to select a camera (channel). The name defaults to the
server camera name. To rename the camera for the remote site, type the new name in the box.
11 TRANSMISSION SIZE Box – Click the arrow to open a drop-down menu of image selections: high resolution of 320 x 240,
medium resolution of 240 x 180, or low resolution of 160 x 120.
12 EXIT Button – Exits the registered site setup screen.
13 TRANSMISSION SPEED Slider Bar – Set the speed that the remote site can receive data, from 0.5 to 10 Mbps in 0.5
Mbps increments. The setting should be the same or lower than the transmission speed from the server.
14 SELECT CHANNEL Selection Boxes and Buttons – Selects cameras to view.
15 REGISTERED SITE LIST Box and Buttons – Creates a new registered site or deletes a registered site from the list.
HOW TO SET UP A REGISTERED SITE
1. Start Windows.
2. Click the icon for the DX7100 Remote Client Software. The remote site screen appears.
3. Click the SETUP button.
4. At the bottom of the REGISTERED SITE LIST, click NEW.
5. Input the information or select the options in the fields on the screen.
6. Check the desired cameras to be displayed.
7. Click the EXIT button to finish setup.
NOTE: Windows NT does not support overlay mode.
HOW TO CONNECT TO A REMOTE SITE
1. Click the icon for the DX7100 Remote Client Software. The remote site screen appears.
2. Select the site in the SITE NAME box.
3. Click the site name.
4. Click the CONNECT button.
5. Enter Client Admin password if requested.
