To Use the Flash

Select a capture mode.Press the b button.

The flash pops up and begins charging.

b (Red) blinks on the display while charging.

When the flash is fully charged, b appears on the display (not displayed in ,mode).

Press the shutter release button halfway.

The focus frame (or face detection frame) on the display turns green when the camera focuses on the subject at the correct distance.

Press the shutter release button fully.

The flash discharges and the picture is taken.Push the flash down to retract.

Selecting the Drive Mode

	Each time a picture is taken, the image is saved in the
j ShootingContinuous	memory before the next image is taken. The higher the
j ShootingContinuous	image quality, the longer the interval between shots.
	You can continue shooting until the memory of the SD
	Memory Card or the built-in memory is full.
A Burst Shooting(L)	The number of recorded pixels is fixed to for 1and
	pictures are taken continuously. The interval between
	pictures are taken continuously. The interval between
C Burst Shooting(H)	shots becomes shorter in the following sequence: A, and
C Burst Shooting(H)	C.
	The picture is taken approximately ten seconds after the
g Self-timer	shutter release button is pressed. Use this mode when you
	want to be included in a group picture.
Z 2 sec. Self-timer	The picture is taken approximately two seconds after the
Z 2 sec. Self-timer	shutter release button is pressed. Use this mode to avoid
	camera shake.
	The shutter will be released after about three seconds
i Remote Control	when the shutter release button on the remote control unit
	is pressed.
0-sec Remote	The shutter will be released immediately when the shutter
