Shooting Movies

1 Turn the mode dial to 3.
2 Press the shutter release button.
Movie shooting starts.
While shooting, the “REC” indicator blinks,
and the recording time and time remaining
are shown.
3 Press the shutter release button again.
Shooting ends.

• Ifthecameraisoperatedwhileshooting,theoperationsoundswillalsoberecorded.
• Thefollowingfunctionscannotbeusedin3 mode.

• FA/MoveTarget

• IftheFn2buttonispressed whileshooting,recordingwillbepaused. IftheFn2buttonis pressed
again, recording will resume.
• Eachmoviecanbeamaximumof25minuteslongorupto4GBinsize.
• ThemaximumrecordingtimepershootingdependsonthesizeofyourSDmemorycard
(GP. 133). Shooting may also end even before this length of time is reached.
• Theamountoftimeremainingiscalculatedbasedontheamountofmemoryavailableandmaynot
diminish at an even rate.
• PleaseuseanSDmemorycardofSpeedClass6orhigherforshootingmovies.
• Chargethebatterybeforeshooting.
