In Playback mode, press the four-way controller (45) to select the image you want to correct.
Press the four-way controller (3). The Mode Palette appears.

4 Press the OK button.

If the error message [Cannot process | | |
correctly] appears, go to the step 5 in “Removing Red-eye Manually” (page 167).
5 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Overwrite] or [Save as].
When the image is protected, [Save as] will be selected automatically.
6 Press the OK button.
The edited image is saved with the same number of recorded pixels and quality level as the original.
•Red-eye compensation function cannot be used for movies. If you try to do so, the error message will appear as described in step 4.
•Red-eye compensation function can only be used for still pictures taken with this camera.
