Setting the Focusing Area
You can choose the area on which the autofocus focuses. The default setting is G(Wide).

If [Spot AF] is selected for [OK btn when shooting] (p.122) in the [ACustom Setting] menu, the camera switches to 6(Spot) for as long as the 4button is held down when the focusing area is set to G(Wide).
