Setting the AF Mode
You can choose from the following two autofocus modes. The default setting is l(Single mode).
l | Single mode | When the shutter release button is pressed halfway to |
focus on the subject, the focus is locked at that position. | ||

k | Continuous | The subject is kept in focus by continuous adjustment |
mode | while the shutter release button is pressed halfway. |

• Settings cannot be changed in Picture mode and Hmode (p.47).
•k(Continuous mode) can be set when the mode dial is set to e, b, c, aor p. The autofocus mode is set to kin \(Moving Object) of Picture mode or C(Kids) or E(Pet) of Hmode.
