Installing the software

The procedures for installing the necessary software are explained.

Installing the USB driver (Only for Mac OS 8.6)

zTurn on your Macintosh.

xSet the included CD-ROM (S-SW5) in the CD-ROM drive of your Macintosh.

cCopy the following 2 files to the [Extensions] folder within the System folder.

PENTAX-USB Storage Driver PENTAX-USB Storage Shim (E)

vRestart your Macintosh.

For MacOS 9.x or later, there is no need to install the USB driver.

Installing ACDSeeTM

When installing ACDSeeTM, recorded images can be viewed on your Macintosh.

zTurn on your Macintosh.

xSet the included CD-ROM (S-SW5) in the CD-ROM drive of your Macintosh.

cDouble click your language choice.

You can choose the language from the following: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.

vFollow the on-screen guidance and enter the registration information and proceed with the installation.
