The focus mode changes each time the button is pressed and the setting is displayed on the LCD monitor.
The camera is ready to take the picture in the set focus mode.

memo • When [Focus Mode] in the [Memory] menu (p.74) is not turned on, the focus mode goes back to [Auto] when you turn off the power.
•The default setting of the focus mode is [Auto]. When the focus mode is [Auto], no icon is displayed on the LCD monitor.
