Installing the image processing software

This section describes the procedures for installing ACDSee™ which lets you view recorded images on your computer and ACD photostitcher which lets you create panorama pictures.

Caution • The ACD photostitcher is only for the English version and the Japanese version.

•If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, login by the authority of the administrator before installing the software. See the operating manual for your computer for instructions on how to login.

Installing the ACDSee™

When installing the ACDSee™ , recorded images can be viewed and edited on your computer.

zTurn on your computer.xInsert the CD-ROM (S-SW7) into your CD-ROM drive.

The PENTAX Software Installer screen will appear.

If the PENTAX Software Installer screen is not displayed Follow the procedure below to display the screen.

1) Double click the [My Computer] icon on the desktop.

2) Double click the [CD-ROM Drive (S-SW7)] icon.

3) Double click the [Setup.exe] icon.

cClick your applicablelanguage.

You can choose the language from the following: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.
