Disconnecting your camera from your PC (Windows XP)zDouble-click [Safely Remove Hardware] on the task bar.xClick [PENTAX USB DISK Device] and click [Stop].

vA message permitting removal of the hardware will appear. Turn the camera off and unplug the USB cable from your computer and camera.

Disconnecting your camera from your PC (Windows 98/98 SE)

Windows 98 and 98 SE have no Hot Plug icon. To disconnect the camera, turn the camera off and unplug the USB cable.
