Formatting a SD Memory Card/MultiMediaCard

Formatting will delete all the data on the SD Memory Card/ MultiMediaCard.

Caution • Do not remove the SD Memory Card/MultiMediaCard while the card is being formatted. The card may be damaged and become

unusable.

•SD Memory Cards/MultiMedia Cards formatted on a PC or device other than the camera cannot be used. Be sure to format the card with the camera.

•Formatting will delete protected data too.

zSelect [Format] on the [ Set-up] menu.

xPress the four-way controller ().

The Format screen will be displayed.

cSelect [Format] with the four-way controller ().

vPress the OK button.

Formatting will start. When formatting is completed, the camera is ready to capture or play back images.
