Taking Fast Forward Movie Pictures (Fast Fwd Movie)

This mode lets you take movie pictures at a delayed frame rate so that when you play the movie back, the action appears speeded up.

zPress the Menu/Fn button in Capture mode.

The [ Rec.Mode] menu will be displayed.

xPress the four-way controller () toMovie].

cUse the four-way controller () to choose [Off (⋅ 1)], [⋅ 2], [⋅ 5], [⋅ 10], [⋅ 50] or [⋅ 100].

vPress the OK button.

bPress the shutter release button.

Shooting in Fast Forward Movie mode starts.

• Off (⋅ 1) is the normal setting for movie pictures (15 frames per memo second). Each time ⋅ 2 or ⋅ 5 is selected, the number of frames taken

per second is reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.

•As movie pictures are normally played back at the rate of 15 frames per second, movies taken at ⋅ 2 are played back twice as fast and movies taken at ⋅ 5 are played back five times as fast.

•Sound cannot be recorded.
