Selecting the recording speed (SP or LP)
Youcan reduce the recording speed by half. This makes it
possibleto record, for example,eight-hours instead of
four-hourson an ’E240’ (four-hour) cassette.
aPressthe MENU button.The main menu appears.
bSelectthe line ’Tape’ with the Pr= or Pq;
button,and confirm with the SqP button.
cSelectthe line ’Tape speed’ with the Pr= or
Pq; button.
dSelectthe required recording speed with the
QSr or SqP button.
D’LP’:LongPlay = half recording speed (double
recordingtime).
’SP’:StandardPlay = normal recording speed.
DThepicture quality will be adversely affected when
recordingat half recording speed (’LP’).
DForplayback, the correct recording speed will
automaticallybe selected.
eConfirmwith the OK button.
fToend, press the MENU button.
