Connecting additional equipment
Youcan also connect additional equipment to the EXTERNAL
socket,for instance, a decoder satellite receiver or camcor-
der.
Emergency interrupt
Boththe set and the remote control have an ’Emergency
interrupt’button. You can use the STANDBYmbutton to in-
terruptany function.
Tointerrupt a TIMER recording, press the STANDBYmbut-
tonseveral seconds.
Wheneveryou have operating problems you can simply
interruptthe function and start again.
Youcan practise operating your set without any worries. No
matterwhich buttons you press, you cannot damage it.

WithOSD (On Screen Display) the corresponding functions
appearon the TV-screen. The mostimportant button-functions
aredisplayed at the bottom of the screen.
Throughoutthis instruction manual, use the following buttons
forthe functions ’Call up’, ’Select’, ’Enter’/’Adjust’, ’Confirm’
and’Exit’:
•Callup: Use the MENU button.
•Select:Select a line with the Aor Bbutton.
Usethe 0-9 buttons or the Dor Cmenu but-
tonto select within a line.
•Enter/Alter:With the Dor Corwith the 0-9
button.
•Confirm:With the OK button.
•Exit:With the MENU .
