Corriente abajo

Es la dirección del flujo de datos desde el host o hacia afuera desde el host. Un puerto corriente abajo es el puerto en un centro electricamente más alejado del host, que genera tráfico de datos corriente abajo desde el centro. Los puertos corriente abajo reciben tráfico de datos corriente arriba.

Corriente arriba

Es la dirección del flujo de datos hacia el host. Un puerto corriente arriba es el puerto en un dispositivo eléctricamente más cercano al host, que genera tráfico de datos corriente arriba desde el centro. Puertos corriente arriba reciben tráfico de datos corriente abajo.
