Press or to select the TV Rating level at which you want to block viewing, then press ENTER once. If you press ENTER again, the subratings for that category will appear.

Details are on pages 26-27.

When you select the rating category and set it to BLOCK, the higher ratings will turn to BLOCK automatically. Lower ratings will turn to VIEW. When you set “TV-Y” to VIEW (or BLOCK), all ratings will turn to VIEW (or BLOCK) automatically.

Helpful Hints

If you want to disable V-Chip so you can view all TV programming, set TV-Y to VIEW.

The V-CHIP Settings will be retained after a power failure (except the access code reverts to 0000).
