Kaksi vierekkäistä palavaa osaväripistettä:

- punainen + sininen = violetti

punainen, vihreä tai

- punainen + vihreä = keltainen

sininen osaväripiste

- vihreä + sininen = syaani (vaaleansininen)

Punaiset tai siniset kirkkaat pisteet ovat 50 prosenttia kirkkaampia kuin ympäröivät pisteet, kun taas vihreät kirkkaat pisteet ovat 30 prosenttia naapuripisteitä kirkkaampia.
