Two people are required to lif t and
carry a TV that weig hs more than
55 lbs.
When stand mounting t he TV, use
only the supplied stand . Secure the
stand to the TV tight ly. Place the
TV on a flat, level surf ace that can
support the combine d weight of the
TV and the stand.
When wall mounting the T V, use
only a wall mount that can sup port
the weight of the TV. Secure the wa ll
mount to a wall that can suppor t the
combined weight of the TV an d wall

Risk of injury to childr en! Follow these
precautions to preven t the TV from
toppling over and causing injur y to
children:
Never place the TV on a sur face
covered by a cloth or other materi al
that can be pulled away.
Ensure that no part of th e TV hangs
over the edge of the surface .
Never place the TV on tall fu rniture
(such as a bookcase) without
anchoring both the fur niture and TV
to the wall or a suitable su pport.
Educate children abou t the dangers
of climbing on furnitur e to reach the
TV.
Risk of overheating! Never i nstall the TV
in a confined space. Always leave a s pace
of at least 4 inches or 10 cm aroun d the
TV for ventilation. Ensur e curtains or
other objects never cover th e ventilation
slots on the TV.
Risk of damage to the TV! B efore you
connect the TV to the powe r outlet,
ensure that the power volta ge matches
the value printed on the ba ck of the TV.
Never connect the TV to th e power
outlet if the voltage is dif ferent.

Read and understand all instructions before you
use your TV. If damage is caused by failure to
follow instructions, the warranty does not apply.

Safety

Risk of electric sho ck or fire!
Never expose the TV to rai n or
water. Never place liquid contain ers,
such as vases, near the T V. If
liquids are spilt on or int o the TV,
disconnect the TV fro m the power
outlet immediately. Contact Philips
Consumer Care to have the T V
checked before use.
Never place the TV, remote contr ol
or batteries near naked fl ames or
other heat sources, including direct
sunlight.
To prevent the spread of fire, keep
candles or other flames away from
the TV, remote control and ba tteries
at all times.
Never insert objects into the
ventilation slots or other o penings on
the TV.
When the TV is swivel ed ensure that
no strain is exerte d on the power
cord. Strain on the power cor d can
loosen connections an d cause arcing.
Risk of short circuit o r fire!
Never expose the remote cont rol or
batteries to rain , water or excessive
heat.
Avoid force coming onto power
plugs. Loose power plugs can cause
arcing or fire.
