CD OPEN: When the CD door is open.

Total track number and playing time: In stop position.

Current track number and elapsed playing time: During CD play.

In PAUSE position, the display freezes and the elapsed playing time flashes.

SHUFFLE/REPEAT: When the respective mode is activated.

PROGRAM: When program function is active.

no SEL: PROGRAM button is pressed but no tracks are

prog: When you store a track.

PROGRAM FULL: Maximum number

no prog: When PROGRAM is

no diSC: Error in CD operation

PLAYING A CD

1.Set the source selector 6 to

2.Press OPEN ! to open the CD

3.Insert the AUDIO CD, printed side push the door down.

4.Start playback by pressing PLAY•PAUSE

5.Adjust the sound using the VOLUME controls.

6.To interrupt playback, press PLAY•PAUSE PLAY•PAUSE 2; 0 again to continue

7.Press STOP 9 0 to stop CD playback

8.Set the source selector 6 to TAPE/OFF

Note: CD playback will also stop when:

The CD has reached the end;

The CD door is opened;

The source selector is in the TAPE/OFF

Selecting a different track during playback

You can jump to the next track by pressing want to skip more than one track, press once until the display shows the desired

If you want to repeat the current track SEARCH ∞ 0 once. If you want to repeat press SEARCH ∞ 0 more than once until desired track number.

Starting with a particular track

1.In the STOP position you can select a desired track using the SEARCH § or ∞ button 0.

2.Press PLAY•PAUSE 2; 0 to start playback.
