the back of this user manu al and enter the r espective
language code.
[Parental]
Restrict access to di scs that are unsuit able for
children. These ty pes of discs must be re corded
with ratings.
1. Press OK.
2. Select a rating le vel, then press OK.
3. Press the numeric buttons to enter the
password.
Note
Rated DVDs above the leve l you set in • [Parental] require
a password to be played .
The ratings are coun try-depe ndent. To allow all d iscs to

play, select ‘8’.
Some discs have ratin gs printed on th em but are not
•
recorded with rat ings. This fu nction has no ef fect on
such discs.
[PBC]
Turn on or off the content menu of VC Ds/SVCDs
with PBC (playback cont rol) feature.
• [On] - Display the index men u when you load
a disc for play.
• [Off] - Skip the m enu and star t play from the
first title.
[MP3/JPEG Nav]
Select to display the fo lders or display all t he files.
• [View Files] - Display all the files.
• [View Folders] - Display the folders of MP3/
WMA files.
[Password]
Set or change the passwo rd for locked discs and
play restricted DV Ds.
