Removing the rechargeable battery and the button cell

Only remove the rechargeable battery when you discard the appliance. Make sure the battery is completely empty when you remove it.

Disconnect the appliance from the outlet and remove the appliance plug.

Turn on the LED panel and leave it on until it goes out automatically.

Undo the 2 screws with a screwdriver (Fig. 14).

Remove the cover of the built-in rechargeable battery (Fig. 15).

Lift the blue rectangular rechargeable battery out of the appliance. The battery is connected to the appliance through a red wire and a black wire to a socket inside the appliance (Fig. 16).

Grab the wires and pull the socket out of the appliance (Fig. 17). The rechargeable battery has now been removed.

Remove the button cell (Fig. 18). Dispose the battery in accordance with local regulations.
