To remotely control your answer machine
WARNING : For security reasons the remote control of the answer machine is deactivated by default. You must activate this function on your CD 135 phone, see page 37, to be able to remotely access your answer machine.
You can access your answer machine when you are away by using any tone dialing phone.
To remotely access your answer machine
1.From another phone dial home.
2.If your answer machine is ON, during or after the outgoing message press the
key (#) on the external phone ;
OR
If your answer machine is OFF, you will hear a beep after 10 rings, then press the
key (#).
3.Enter your PIN code.
4.If you have new messages after the beep they will be automatically played.
The following table indicates the features available when remotely accessing the answer machine.
KEYS FUNCTIONS
1Go back to the previous message.
Play all recorded messages (new and old, included memos) or play the
2current message again.
3Skip forward to the next message.
4Press to record a new outgoing message after the beep.
5Play the current outgoing message.
6Delete the current message.
8Stop message playback or stop outgoing message recording.
