Press the POWER button to turn off the VCR. The VCR must be turned off for a timer recording to take place.

The r light will appear on the display panel. The r light and the Cassette-Inside light will flash when you turn off the VCR if there is not a tape in the VCR.

Helpful Hints

Do not select DAILY at step 6 if the VCR Plus+ recording you chose is on a Saturday or Sunday. The recording will not occur, even though the VCR may accept the way you pro- grammed the recording.

To exit the VCR Plus+ programming system at any step, press the EXIT/STATUS button.

PROGRAM NOT COMPLETED/ CLASH may appear on-screen for five seconds at step 8 if the timer recording you programmed overlaps with another timer recording. To cancel the overlapping timer record- ing, follow the steps on page 40.
