SPEED Button

STILL/SLOW /+ Buttons During slow motion tape playback, press to adjust the playback speed. Details are on page 49.

MENU Button

Press to access the main VCR menu. Or, press the TV button, then the MENU button, to access the TV menu.

VOL(ume) 8/9 Buttons

Press to increase or decrease the TV’s volume.

SKIP Button

Press during tape playback to fast forward 30 seconds of a tape. This feature will only work with tape segments recorded in SP or SLP speed.

EXIT/STATUS Button Press to exit on-screen menus. Press to bring up the status display for five seconds. Details are on page

26.When tape playback is stopped, press repeatedly to see the time, real-time counter, or current chan- nel number on the display panel. During tape playback, press repeat- edly to see the time or the real- time counter on the display panel. CH(annel) 8/9 Buttons

After pressing the CBL/DBS, TV, or VCR button, press to scan through the channels of the Cable Box/DBS, TV, or VCR.

AUDIO/MUTE Button

Press the TV button, then press the AUDIO/MUTE button to eliminate the TV’s sound. Press again to restore the sound. Or, press the VCR button, then press the AUDIO/MUTE button, to select MONO or HIFI. Details are on pages 44 - 46.

TIMER Button

Press to access the timer recording menu. Details are on pages 35 - 40.

INDEX Buttons
