5.4.8Spanning Tree

The Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is a standardized method (IEEE 802.1D) for avoiding loops in Ethernet networks. When enable STP function, please ensure only one path at a time is active be- tween any two nodes on the network. You can enable Spanning Tree Protocol from the Switch setting advanced item of web interface. We are recommended you to enable STP on whole Switches for ensures a single active path in the network.
