Captions

Select the Captions menu by pressing the (￿/￿) Navigation buttons until CAPIIONS is highlighted and then press the ￿ button to access the submenu. This setting allows you to select “ON” or “OFF”.

NOTE: Some DVD discs have hidden captions. You can turn the hidden captions on or off with this setting.

Screen Saver

Select the Screen Saver menu by pressing the (￿/￿) Navigation buttons until SCREEN SAVER is highlighted and then press the ￿ button to access the submenu. This setting allows you to select “ON” or “OFF”.

Audio Out

Select the Audio out menu by pressing the (￿/￿) Navigation buttons until AUDIO OUT is highlighted and then press the ￿ button to access the submenu. This setting allows you to select “SPDIF OFF” or “SPDIF / RAW”.

NOTE: This item is used to set the format of digital audio. “SPDIF OFF” turns off the digital audio; “SPDIF/RAW” outputs the original. For example, if the disc being played is Dolby AC-3, then the digital audio output is also Dolby AC-3.
