Using the Flash

To select a flash setting, turn the mode dial to Record.

The flash button (a) on the top of the

a

camera lets you cycle through the flash-

mode icons (b) in the status LCD. The

default setting is Auto flash.

The optimum camera-to-subject flash range

is 3 to 8 feet (1 to 2.5 m).

If you use flash, wait until the power/status

indicator stops blinking before you take

another photo.
