Connecting the Phone to the Network

Note

Connecting the SoundPoint IP 7000 conference phone to the network is optional,

 

but highly recommended (for the reasons discussed at the beginning of this

To connect the SoundPoint IP 7000 phone to the network:

Connect the 25-foot Network Cable to the LAN jack on the phone.

Connect the other end of the 25-foot Network Cable to an available

 

 

LAN port on the wall or hub/switch device port.

Note

 

AC power adapters are not included in the basic phone package. Power will be

 

provided to the phone from the Polycom HDX system when connected using the
