for Commercial Logging.

Protective gloves (not provided) should be
worn during assembly.

already attached)
WARNING: If rec eived assembled,
repeatall s teps to ensure your saw is prop-
erlyassembled and allfasteners are s ecure.
Always wear gloves when handling the
chain. The chain is sharp and can cut you
even when it is not moving!
1. Loosenandremov e the chain brak e nuts
andt he chain brake from the saw.
2. Remove the plastic shipping spacer (if
present).

3. Turn adjusting screw on bar counter-
clockwiseto mov e the tensioning rack as
faras itwill go toward t he front of the bar.

4. Slidethebar behind clutchdrum until bar
stops against clutch drum sprocket.
Mount the bar
5. Prepare the chain by checking the proper
direction. Without following the illust ration it
iseas y to place the chain on the saw inthe
wrong direction. Use the illustration of the
chain to determine the proper direction.
