1.0 Warranty and Service
Powermatic warrants every product it sells against manuf acturers’ defect s. If one of our tool s needs servi ce or repair,
please contact Technical Service by calling 1-800-274-6846, 8AM to 5PM CST, Monday through Friday.
Warranty Period
The general warranty lasts for the t ime per i od specified in the literatur e included with your product or on the official
Powerm atic branded websi t e.
• Powermati c products carry a limited warrant y which varies in duration based upon the product. (See chart
below)
• Accessories carry a limited warr anty of one year from the date of recei pt .
• Consumabl e items are defined as expendable part s or accessories expected to become i noperabl e wit hin a
reasonable amount of use and are covered by a 90 day limit ed warranty against manuf acturer’s defects.
Who is Covered
This warr anty covers only the initial purchaser of the product from the date of deli very.
W h a t is Co ve red
This warranty covers any defects in workmanship or materials subject to the limitations stated below. This warranty
does not cover failures due directly or indirect l y to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, normal wear-and-t ear,
improper repair, al t erations or lack of maintenance. Powerm atic woodworking machinery is desi gned t o be used with
Wood. Us e of t hes e ma chin es i n t he proc essin g of metal, plastics, or oth er materials may v oid the warra nty. Th e
exceptions are acryli cs and other natural items that are made specifically for wood turning.
Warranty Limitations
W oodworking products wi th a Five Year W arranty that are used for commercial or industrial purposes default to a
Two Year Warranty. Please contact Technical Service at 1-800-274-6846 for f urther clarification.
