You can disassemble your Jazzy 1105 into five pieces, including a folding power base.

To disassemble your Jazzy 1105:

1.Turn power off.

2.Make sure the unit is not in freewheel. See IV “The Jazzy 1105.”

3.Unplug the controller harness from behind the seat. See figure 14.

4.Unplug the charger connector from the battery case.

5.Depress the two seat release buttons on the front of the seat frame simultaneously while lifting the front of the seat. See figure 15.

6.Lift the seat up and gently lower it back onto the front seat towers.

7.Pull the seat forward and lift it off the rear seat towers.

8.Disconnect the motor harness connector from each motor. See figure 16.

9.Disconnect the charger harness connector.

10.Disconnect the battery case straps. See figure 17.

11.Disconnect the batteries.

12.Remove the battery cases.

13.Use a 3/16-in. hex socket or wrench to remove the rigidizing screw. See figure 18.

14.Move the safety bar over to the right side. See figure 19.

15.Lift up and remove the foot plate. See figure 20.

16.Lift up Jazzy power base using carrying strap. See figure 21.

The Jazzy 1105 power base weighs 71 lbs. and the batteries weigh approximately 38 lbs. each. If you are unable to lift that much weight, be sure to seek help.
