FIVE-YEAR LIMITED FRAME WARRANTY

There is a five-year limited frame warranty on Pride workmanship.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

For one (1) year from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:

νElectronic controllers and joystick assemblies

νMotor/gearbox assembly

νMain frame subassemblies (fork, caster beams, metal seat base, metal arms, metal footplate)

νPlastic components, except the body shroud

νRubber components

νBearings and bushings

νCaster and anti-tip wheels

WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS

νMotor: The commutator of the motor is not warranted if the damage is caused by not replacing the motor brushes after heavy wear to the brushes. Motor brushes are wear items and are not warranted.

νBrakes: There is a one-year warranty for the electrical function of the brakes. Brake pads are wear items and are not warranted.

νBatteries: The batteries are covered by the battery manufacturer. The battery warranty is not covered by Pride.

Warranty service can be performed by an authorized Pride provider. Do not return faulty parts to Pride without prior consent.All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

νABS plastic body shrouds and footrest covers are wear items and not warranted.

νBatteries (The battery manufacturer provides a six-month limited warranty.)

νTires and tubes

νUpholstery and seating

νRepairs and/or modifications made to any part without specific prior written consent from Pride

νCircumstances beyond the control of Pride

νLabor, service calls, shipping, and other charges incurred for repair of the product unless specifically authorized by Pride

Damage caused by:

νBattery fluid spillage or leakage

νAbuse, misuse, accident, or negligence

νImproper operation, maintenance, or storage

νCommercial use, or use other than normal
