As the receiver moves away from the transmitter, the hiss- ing background noise increases. Move closer to the trans- mitter to eliminate the noise.
Note: Range varies depending on obstructions, such as the number of walls between the transmitter and receiver, locations of furniture and appliances, and so on.
5.To turn off the receiver, rotate POWER ON/VOLUME counter- clockwise until you hear a click and the POWER indicator turns off.
6.To turn off the transmitter, slide POWER to the left. The POWER indicator turns off.
SETTING THE CHANNEL SWITCHES
CHANNEL on both the transmitter and receiver is originally set to 1. If you notice too much interference, set CHANNEL on both the transmitter and the receiver to 2. The red indicator appears above the channel number (1 or 2) on the transmitter to show you the current channel.
Note: Both units must be set to the same channel for the sys- tem to operate.
