Handset display HANDSET NEEDS REGISTRATION
•Follow the programming the telephone procedures to
•Press the program/mute key.
HOLD BASE PAGE, WAIT FOR BEEP shows on the handset display
•Press and hold the page/int button until the unit beeps (within 30 seconds). Handset shows HANDSET # REGISTERED and HANDSET NAME comes up on the display.
•Enter the handset name (within 15 characters)
•Press program/mute key to confirm and you will hear a confirmation tone. Dial tone is OK but can’t dial out
•Make sure the TONE/PULSE setting on the handset is set to the type of phone service you are subscribed to.
Handset/Base does not ring
•Make sure the handset ringer is turned on and the base ringer is programmed to HIGH.
•The cordless handset may be out of range of the base. Move closer to the base.
•You may have too many extension phones on your line. Try unplugging some phones.
•Check for dial tone.
You experience static, noise, or fading in and out
•The cordless handset may be out of range of the base. Move closer to the base.
•Relocate the base. Make sure base is not plugged into an outlet with another household appliance.
•Charge the battery.
