TELEPHONE SOLUTIONS

No dial tone

Check or repeat installation steps.

Make sure base power cord is connected to a working electrical outlet.

Make sure the telephone line cord is connected to the base and the modular phone jack.

Connect another phone to the same jack; if there is still no dial tone, the problem might be your wiring or local service.

The cordless handset may be out of range of the base. Move closer to the base.

Make sure the battery is properly charged (16 hours).

Make sure the battery pack is installed correctly.

Did the handset beep when you pressed the talk/callback button? The battery may need to be charged.

Place the handset in the charge cradle for at least two minutes to reset.

Handset display "SEARCHING" or "OUT OF RANGE" and cannot link up with the base when talk/callback is pressed.

Handset may be out of range of the base. Mover closer to the base.

Make sure the power supply is properly installed.

Disconnect the handset battery and plug it in again. Place the handset on the cradle for at least two minutes.

Disconnect the power supply and plug it in again.
