mp3/WMA/JPEG playback

mp3/WMA/JPEG CD Information

This player can play back mp3/WMA/JPEG files recorded on a CD-R or CD-RW.

mp3 is an audio file format, which compresses recorded music. It was developed by Fraunhofer Gesellschaft in collaboration with Thomson Inc. The main advantage of the mp3 format is that it means CD-quality music tracks can be stored on a personal computer.

WMA (Windows Media Audio) is another audio file format developed by Microsoft.

JPEG files are image files.

To create these files you need a Windows-PC with CD-ROM drive and mp3/WMA/JPEG-encoding software (not supplied).

The Apple-HFS-System cannot be played.
