Removing the Lens Hood
The lens hood can be removed so you can attach optional accessories, such as wide- angle lens, lens extender, or lens filter kit.
To remove the lens hood, place your hand flat against the lens hood and turn it counterclockwise. Do not grasp the end of the lens hood.
Attaching Accessory Lens
Remove the lens hood as shown above.
REC/PAUSETRACKING
Turn the accessory lens clockwise into the camcorder’s lens. Make sure the lens is tightened firmly, but do not over tighten.
