Camcorder Remains	• Press REC/PAUSE to return to normal playback.

Poor Picture Quality	• There is insufficient light. Add more light.
During Recording
Viewfinder Displays Are	• Try adjusting the eyepiece focus control. Details are
Out of Focus	on page 22.
Poor Auto-Focus	• Lens may be smudged and image appears unfocused.
Operation	• Viewfinder eyepiece focus control may be adjusted
	incorrectly. Details are on page 22.
Poor Picture Quality	• Tape was recorded on a different camcorder or VCR.
During Playback	If the picture contains black-and-white streaks, press
	one of the TRACKING buttons to correct.
	• Camcorder only has one speed (SP). If the tape was
	recorded on a different VCR at a different speed, it
	cannot be played back in this camcorder.
Recorded Audio is Too	• Subject may have been too far from the camcorder.
Low
AE Shutter-Speed or	• POWER switch must be in CAMERA.
INDEX Indicator Does
