Chapter 1: Connections and Setup

AWhen connecting with a Component cable

Digital Set-top Box

Y Pb Pr (L) AUDIO (R)

1.Connect the video outputs (Y, PB, PR) of the digi- tal set-top box to the COMPONENT VIDEO(Y/Pb/Pr) jacks on the set.

2.Connect the audio outputs of the digital set-top box to the COMPONENT AUDIO jacks on the set.

3.Turn on the digital set-top box.

4.Select YPbPr source using the INPUT button on the remote control.

5.Refer to the digital set-top box manual for oper- ating instructions.

AWhen connecting with a HDMI cable

1. Connect the HDMI output of the digital set-top

Digital Set-top Boxbox to the HDMI/DVI IN 1 or HDMI IN 2 jack on the set.

HDMI-DTV OUTPUT

2. Turn on the digital set-top box.

3. Select HDMI1 or HDMI2 input source using the INPUT button on the remote control.

4. Refer to the digital set-top box manual for oper- ating instructions.
